The Firm is organized into two Departments; namely, Litigation and Business. This structure promotes cost-effective legal representation and enables our attorneys to focus their practice in particular areas of the law. Our lawyers have extensive background in virtually all aspects of civil law. Our litigation attorneys have built a broad practice including Professional Liability Litigation, Tort and Products Liability Litigation, and Commercial/Complex Litigation.

The Firm’s business attorneys counsel clients in the areas of Business, Taxation & Financial Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities & Commercial Finance, Employment Law, ERISA & Employee Benefits, Real Estate, Insurance Regulation and Bankruptcy & Creditors Rights matters. We are a full-service law firm. While clients are assigned a primary attorney who is responsible for keeping the clients informed of legal services, counsel from other practice areas is coordinated when required. The Firm’s contacts with other law firms and specialists throughout the world expand the resources which we can make available to our clients. The Firm maintains an experienced staff of legal assistants and other paraprofessionals to assist our lawyers in all areas of practice.

The Firm’s library is maintained with an extensive collection of books, reference materials, periodicals, computer databases, CD-ROM libraries, Internet search materials on other resources that reflect the broad practice of the Firm. The collection includes over 20,000 volumes and over 200 computer databases and is one of the largest private legal collections in the Midwest. The Firm’s local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) capabilities give our lawyers remote access to the Firm’s legal resources world-wide. We put technology to work for our clients.
