    Job Objective:

    The Application Analyst will provide help desk support for NEI’s global website systems, assist in data maintenance, provide overall system support, and assist in troubleshooting reported issues. The role also supports the software lifecycle by assisting with Quality Assurance responsibilities, including development of test cases, producing test data, executing test cases, and identifying defects.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide help desk support to all external applicants and global website system users.
    • Analyze and evaluate applications, systems, or workflows to meet user needs and align with business strategies.
    • Troubleshoot and analyze reported issues and change requests, identify trends, and recommend changes as needed.
    • Provide basic support for applications, systems, or workflows to internal and external users.
    • Collaborate with other team members (BA, QA, Developers) to ensure appropriate coverage for planned work.
    • Develop an understanding of the data and database objects used by the supported applications.
    • Perform global data changes and data imports.
    • Participate in reviews of business requirements and design specifications to ensure completeness and testability.
    • Test modifications to the application to ensure compliance with user requirements.
    • Review/document procedural changes and implement based on business need.
    • Develop and maintain procedures.
    • Support the software lifecycle by assisting with Quality Assurance tasks, outlining test cases, devising, or acquiring test data, executing test cases to identify defects prior to production.

    Required Skills:

    Technology Skills

    • Knowledge and experience with a database environment.
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

    Application Support Skills

    • Experience providing support through application knowledge and customer service skills.
    • Knowledgeable with Help Desk Software.
    • Ability to pay close attention to detail and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Creative thinker, problem solver.
    • Strong organizational skills.
