CATCH Intelligence is a Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Management Consulting and Software firm based in the Omaha, NE metropolitan area, serving customers throughout the United States.  We are an SAP Business Objects Partner, Rapid Decision Partner, and Microsoft Gold Partner who focus on helping organizations connect data from multiple systems in order to automate reporting, which allows managers, directors and C-level leaders to gain better insight into their data in order to uncover new opportunities!    

CATCH is looking for a Junior Windows Server Administrator to fill a BusinessObjects Install and Administrator position.  The right candidate will be trained in the implementation and support of the core infrastructure of the SAP BusinessObjects Suite. This includes, but is not limited to, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the SAP BusinessObjects software and its platform. This includes software such as BusinessObjects Enterprise, BusinessObjects Lumira, SAP Data Services, and various BusinessObjects client software.

This position entails interfacing with users internally and externally and requires an individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  The role requires an individual who is self-directed, confident, able to ask for what they need, and able to work independently or as a part of a team.  The position requires strong problem solving skills and a high level of technical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing installs and upgrades of the SAP BusinessObjects software
  • Familiarity with windows based services in order to administrate, patch and report on Windows Server environment
  • Creating and maintaining documentation
  • Performing OS tuning, deploying and maintain proper server patches
  • Working with CATCH clients in a consultative manner to troubleshoot, install and configure
  • Proactively work with CATCH clients and other technical support staff to resolve user issues
  • Participating in the process of scoping, estimating and understanding the project plan
  • Proactively raising issues if specifications, architecture or implementation strategies will lead to quality or system performance issues or problems
  • Any other activities called upon by management

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with clients and other technical support staff to resolve user issues
  • Demonstrates self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources consistent with the overall goals of the project and good of the organization
  • Proactively mentors and recommends training for team members as well as clients
  • Working toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
  • Active Directory experience
  • VMware experience
  • MCSE/MCSA certification a plus but not required
  • BusinessObjects experience a plus but not required
