Radio Engineering Industries, Inc. (REI) is a leading manufacturer of infotainment, video surveillance and fleet management solutions for public transit, rail, school transportation and commercial transportation. REI is a growing 80-year-old family-owned company that is looking to add to our production team.

Objective
At REI we believe that packing isn't just about putting things in boxes—it's an art form! The Packer position is a warehouse position with the primary goal of ensuring products are efficiently and correctly packed with care and shipped to customers /vendors. This is a full-time, hourly position. Mon-Fri from 7:00am – 3:30pm

As a Production – Packer, you must be:

Focused – able to analyze issues and determine a course of action to rectify
Steady – able to complete a set of procedures before moving on to a new one
Task-oriented - have high standards of quality and accuracy to get the job done
Reliable – you understand that consistency is important to provide the best service
Quality-driven – producing correct and attractive copy is very important to you

As a Production -Packer you will:

Channel your inner Tetris champion and skillfully pack products into boxes, while following guidelines and ensuring they arrive safely at their destination.
Utilizes foam packing and the auto bagger machines to ensure products are packed safely and will not be damaged when shipped.
Embrace the power of organization as you label, track, and document packages, ensuring no parcel goes missing on its adventure.
Embrace new technologies and systems that make our packing process even more efficient and high-flying.

As a Production- Packer, you must have:

Previous experience packing is preferred, High School Diploma or GED
Must possess basic math skills.
Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written/ verbal instructions.
Computer experience is preferred.
Understands and practices safe lifting techniques. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to do repetitive work and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to use various equipment such as, but not limited to, utility knife, pallet jack, tape machines and hand-held scanners.
