Job Description

Lindsay is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Omaha, NE.  This position will provide support to the Supplier Quality Management Program for the business. Responsible for monitoring Supplier Quality and working closely with the Supplier on a variety of activities. Responsible for MRB meetings and reviewing Supplier Corrective Action. Support and Lead Supplier Quality audits, Validation work, and ensuring compliance to incoming product conforming to Lindsay specifications and certifications. In addition to creating a supplier score card to be presented to the leadership team at monthly Business Review Meetings..


  • Responsible for Supplier Quality Management program and Supplier Audits.
  • Responsible for communicating and working with Suppliers in regards to Quality issues.
  • Participate on Supplier Improvement project teams.
  • Responsible for adherence to regulatory compliance of incoming parts to Lindsay plants.
  • Assist in Internal audits and ISO/MASH audits.
  • Responsible for updates of inspection plans and quality info records.
  • Responsible for performing Validations associated with Supplier related changes.
  • Performing associate ISO/MASH training.
  • Responsible for tracking Supplier quality on a monthly / quarterly basis, i.e. RFT, Notifications.
  • Presenting to management quality and regulatory issues on a timely basis.
  • Work closely with Sourcing on Supplier related activity.


  • 5+ years applicable experience.
  • Ability to travel extensively for first 1-2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Audit training with 5 years auditing experience preferred.
  • Quality engineering experience in Lean Six Sigma training and implementation preferred.
  • Must have highly developed computer skills in Minitab, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledgeable of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 9001:2015, TS 16949.
  • Problem solving abilities a plus. Able to perform root cause analysis.
  • Six Sigma / Lean and Statistics background a plus.
  • Familiar with basic knowledge of validating purchased components/sub-assemblies to engineering specifications.
  • Must be organized and be able to implement programs and projects.
  • Capable of making or leading presentations to all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate and work with all levels of Plant, Division and Supplier Personnel.
