Product Owner - #hybrid schedule

ALLPLAN is a global provider of BIM design software for the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry. We're looking for a Product Owner to join our team, helping to drive the development and enhancement of our software solutions for steel detailers and fabricators. This position is a #hybrid role with most days available for telecommuting. Office located in Lincoln, NE.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams (user experience, development, marketing) to ensure that customers can fully integrate steel detailing and fabricating into their design to build workflows. 

What we need you to do:

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap and backlog for the engineering analysis & structural workflows of our products and services, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Define and prioritize product themes and collaborate on strategy based on customer feedback, market research and data analysis.
• Work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that product requirements are clearly defined and understood.
• Ensure that the digital experience is user-friendly, accessible, and meets industry standards and regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and communicate updates, progress, and chailenges in a clear and concise manner.

The background we are looking for:

• You show a high level of understanding of steel detailing and fabrication standards, enough to communicate with the development teams, and recommend best practice ways of working for our customers.
• You demonstrate expertise in product management, with agile processes and scrum. Also bring an ability to manage a highly motivated team.
• You drive continual product improvements and deliver results that exceed customer expectations
• You will engage the industry as an ALLPLAN representative.
• You know how to gather and analyze market data (users, prospects, competitors) as input into product planning.
• You will work across the organization to develop clear and compelling value propositions at the beginning of the development process.
• You can define user personas and work with UX and Development teams to complete technology assessment and direction.
• You can build and manage the product backlog with a cross-functional team.
