Our client is seeking an organized self-starter to manage their various office and bookkeeping activities. Someone with a strong ability to multi-task, and an understanding of insurance is preferred.  Here’s what they look for:

•    Responsible for all transactional bookkeeping & accounting functions, plus some payroll duties, including:

  •           Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  •           Reconciling bank statements, bank & credit card accounts and the general ledger 

•    Manage and process commission statements, in conjunction with Account Manager
•    Assist with month end process, including reviewing and circulating statements
•    Evaluate how current technology is being used
•    Collaborate with teams to utilize all tools within current systems to create efficiencies
•    Train staff to utilize process improvements
•    Strong communication skills, both oral & written
•    Positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to do what it takes to get things done
•    Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
•    Insurance industry bookkeeping experience is helpful
