Job Title: Regional Business Representative

Department: Sales

Reports to: Business Development Manager


Summary: The Regional Business Representative is responsible for selling the value of becoming a BBB Accredited Business. A successful candidate enjoys making outbound cold calls using a consultative sales approach to build rapport and promote accreditation to small, mid-sized and large businesses, within the Midwest region. 


Leads originate from our extensive database, online accreditation requests, and from proactive approaches by the Business Development Representatives sourcing their own leads. 


This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated charismatic professional to use their sales experience, instincts and intuition in order to make an impact in the community and help local businesses enhance their credibility in a significant way.


Essential Job Functions: 

  • Contact businesses within the Midwest Region to solicit Accreditation.

  • Source, research, build and maintain a network of businesses to identify new leads. 

  • Meet Regional Business Representative sales goals and performance standards.

  • Adhere to all BBB policies and procedures. 

  • Other duties as assigned – adaptability to change is a must.

  • At least 2 years of successful sales experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with CRM systems.

  • The Regional Sales Representative will receive a base hourly rate with the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses based on individual performance.
