Annuity Sales (with Advancement Opportunity)
Insurance Agency Marketing is a 33 year old company that is looking to expand its annuity operations. We are looking for individuals with annuity sales experience to help us reach our goals. The Annuity Sales Director establishes the image of our company. To be successful an individual must be an excellent communicator with significant sales experience. This position requires a dedicated individual with an energetic personality capable of relaying the advantages of our products to agents and motivating them to purchase additional annuities. Life and Annuity background is a must, and sales experience is required. This is a salary plus bonus position with starting compensation commensurate with experience and training. The working environment is business casual and team oriented. Securities License or experience is a plus.
Duties and responsibilities:
Work with licensed insurance professionals to promote the companies that we represent. Determine which products may be of interest and send them information. Follow up those agents to complete licensing paperwork.
Maintain a line of communication with agents and assist them in selling annuities. Provide agents with training on product features and benefits.
Recommend products and provide illust rations when possible for the agents. Offer sales and marketing assistance necessary to help the agent make the sale. Communicate to agents the products and services the company offers. These include: new agent cash bonuses, the incentive trips, agent referral program, the agent retirement program, the free sales training tools that we provide, how to use our website, and the different lead programs that we offer.
Provide input on IAMS marketing campaigns. This may include: blast emails, card packs, fax blasts, annuity news booklet, product spreadsheet, direct mail flyers, and training seminars. Help agents resolve issues that they have after the sale has been made. This may include: checking on the status of pending business, making sure agents have been paid correctly, and other issues as they arise.
Maintain records of the number of agents that were recruited, the business that was written, the number of sales kits that were sent out, and agent referrals that have been received. Provide that input for a weekly sales meeting. Participate actively in weekly and monthly meetings by providing input on how the company can reach its goals.
