Job Description

Mosaic serves more than 5,200 people in 13 states and 750 communities. Services are tailored to meet individual needs and goals, allowing people to be as independent as possible. Services are designed for people with disabilities, mental and behavioral health needs and autism, as well as aging adults.

We are seeking a highly influential leader that is a natural collaborator and a strong facilitator of strategic progress towards key initiatives for the organization. The role will report to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and oversee the project portfolio team. This position is open for regional remote candidates living in Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE, Kansas City, KS, or Des Moines, IA.

The Director of Strategic Initiatives is responsible for the following:

* Facilitate planning and alignment of the strategic initiatives project portfolio
* Provide enabling support services to deliver on business value objectives
* Collaborate with business, operations and IT leaders to develop cross-functional roadmaps and to drive strategic initiatives, bringing strategic thinking, project management and organizational change management expertise to the role and organization
* Use lean principles to facilitate process improvement efforts that increase efficiency and position the company for future growth
* Supervise the team that manages the strategic project portfolio and that provide project management, change management and process improvement support functions for the organization

* Bachelor's Degree in business, organizational development or information systems required.
* Ten years of business consulting or cross-functional program, project and/or process management experience required.
* Lean, PMP and/or Agile certification preferred.
* Experience with strategic and operational planning preferred, including vendor/partner selection and management.
* Supervisory experience preferred.
