Position Summary

The Department of Genetics, Cell Biology and Anatomy is recruiting a postdoctoral trainee to pursue exciting research areas in normal/malignant hematopoiesis, and fundamental problems in cellular regulation, including epigenetics. The laboratory is located in the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, which provides a highly collaborative scholarly environment for conducting innovative basic and translational/clinical research.

These studies involve genomics, proteomics, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, computational analysis, and powerful molecular, cellular, and biochemical methodologies in primary cells and mice. Postdoctoral trainees have opportunities to advance high-impact research projects in these areas, gain expertise in fellowship/grant/manuscript writing, and hone their critical thinking and presentation skills to prepare for careers in academia, private sector or other venues.
