Assembly Machine Operator Truss Rod Forming Operation
Job Summary:
We areseekinga skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate willbe responsible foroperating,maintaining, and troubleshootingour new trussrod forming machineto ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.You will play a key role in helping us meet production goals and uphold quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up andoperatemachinery according to standard operating procedures.
Monitor machine operations andmake adjustmentsas needed to improve efficiency and product quality.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance and report any defects or inconsistencies.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensureoptimalperformance.
Maintainaccurateproduction records and complete necessary documentation.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
Report equipment malfunctions or production issues to theappropriate personnel.
Practice all 6S initiatives to keep the area and machineclean and presentable.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED); technical training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity withdifferent typesof manufacturing machinery andQuality Measurement tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Maintenance backgrounda plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents,blueprintsand manuals.
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Basic math and computer skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, includingovertimeand weekends ifrequired.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with [specific machinery or equipment used in yourfacility].
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma is a plus.
Forklift certification (if applicable).
Work Environment:
This role involves standing for extended periods and working in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
May requirelifting upto [50lbs] and exposure to varying temperatures.
