Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: 5/1/2025
• End Date: Unknown
• Schedule: Mon-Fri 7a-6p with night call 6p-7a; Weekend call 7a-7a with rounding approx. 10a-4p
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 14

Clinical Details:

• Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Call: Yes, with 30min response time; Avg call varies
• EMR: Cerner and Epic
• Support Staff: 2 floor APPs and 2 surgical APPs; Usually 3-4 here at a time
• Procedures: CABG, Thoracic cases, AVR, TAVR, Aortic cases
• Patient Mix: 100% Adult, 100% Surgical

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• DEA Required
• Pennsylvania State License preferred but will accept those needing to obtain it
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR
• Ability to perform endoscopic vein harvesting
• Willingness to work weekends
