Where you'll work:

This is an onsite opportunity where you will report to the customer's location in Port Hueneme, CA.

An average day:

As Computer Analyst III you will provide high level systems analysis and oversight of IT infrastructure, identifying issues, implementing solutions, and improving processes. This role involves strategic coordination, guiding complex troubleshooting, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet mission objectives. In this position you will:
  • Oversee IT infrastructure and advise on process improvements, resource allocation, and technical performance criteria.
  • Conduct in depth system analysis to identify vulnerabilities, propose resolutions, and track remediation progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, plan deployments, and prioritize initiatives.
  • Lead complex troubleshooting efforts, ensuring root cause analysis and systematic resolutions.
  • Perform periodic reviews of system configurations to maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, quality assurance plans, and change management records.
  • Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and risk management to meet mission critical deadlines.
  • Provide expertise during incident response scenarios, implementing recovery procedures and minimizing downtime.
  • Streamline communication channels between technical teams, leadership, and end users.
  • Monitor system performance trends, conduct capacity planning, and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Design and create system monitoring solutions, key performance indicators, and service level agreements where they do not exist.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that could enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Assist in security audits, compliance reviews, and subsequent remediation activities.
  • Document processes in a clear manner for training and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Partner with external vendors to manage service level agreements and ensure system reliability.
  • Produce regular status updates to leadership, highlighting infrastructure risks and potential enhancements.
Basic Qualifications:
  • As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; in lieu of a degree, an additional 5 years of related experience may be substituted.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in systems analysis and IT support, including complex troubleshooting and cross functional collaboration.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise level IT systems with multiple functional domains.
  • Strong background in software/hardware/system analysis, design, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity regulations, including RMF and STIG compliance (if applicable).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and execute large scale IT projects successfully.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis methods and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • IAT Level II certification meeting DoD 8570 requirements.
  • Operating System certification relevant to the specific environment being supported.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to brief technical issues to non technical audiences.
Other:
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • May be required to perform duties outside of standard hours of operation in order to support mission requirements, including planned and unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrades.
