Scholars Office Assistant Work Study

Assist daily operations in the Scholars and Student Success Office. Help with research projects associated with Scholars Program.

Department: Scholars

Location: Old Chapel 201A

Supervisor: Thomas Jordan

Work available: Daytime; Monday-Friday

Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

• Research support for Scholars Program Director
• Assist with publicity and dissemination of information regarding the Union College Scholars Program on campus
• Design and distribute fliers
• Connect and coordinate events with student organizations
• Assist with website maintenance

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• Computer/software knowledge, especially Word, Excel, Publisher, Photoshop and/or other design software
• Creativity and artistic abilities are a plus
