Location: Remote

Duracell has an exciting opportunity for a Senior CX/UX Strategist to join our Procell InSite team in developing innovative IoT solutions for battery and device monitoring applications that, through analytics, tells the story of a space. We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of what it takes to serve our customers while creating an experience that delights our users in the IoT realm. The candidate is passionate about creating great experiences supported by software and systems to make the world a better place.

This role will report to the Procell InSite VP / GM and Program Leader. They will also work closely across functions including product owners, architects, field service, users and customers, as we reimagine simple and elegant journeys. The successful candidate is never satisfied with the status quo and treats their work as an art form that is an extension of who they are. Some of your favorite questions include: How might we serve our users better? What would have to be true for this to inspire our customers? Are we making our users' lives better?

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive UX/CX strategies that align with business goals and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Conduct and oversee in-depth user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather valuable insights.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and information architectures to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Represent the voice of the User across the organization.
  • Lead strategic planning for user onboarding, product adoption, and feature integration.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights for product development.
  • Mentor junior UX/UI professionals and evangelize UX best practices throughout the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in product vision.
Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design and strategy, with a focus on complex digital environments.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful UX strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
  • Expertise in UX research methodologies and design thinking principles.
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, or prototyping software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with IoT devices, smart technologies, or relevant industry-specific knowledge.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and rapid prototyping.
  • Understanding of business strategy and its application to UX/CX initiatives.
  • Experience in conducting multi-location or geographically dispersed user research.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
