Urgent Care Physician

Coverage Needed

• ASAP - Ongoing
• Schedule:
  • 8A-8P Mon-Fri
  • 9A-5P Sat/Sun (Moving to 12 hour shifts on weekends)
• Must be willing to work at multiple locations

Clinical Details

• EMR: Epic (Training will be provided)
• Setting: Outpatient
• Patients Per Shift: 36-48
• Beds: 4
• Support: 1 MA, 1 Office Staff, Scribes, and Rad techs
• Onsite X-ray and EKG

Requirements

• Residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED by AMBS or AOB
• Active MO License or IMLC
• BLS (AHA)
• At least 2 weeks of availability; must be willing to work 12 hour shifts
• Availability Preferred: blocks of shifts and weekends and weekdays
• Must be trained to see both adults and pediatrics
• Provide proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months with experience correlating to the privilege requested
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) and reading EKGs & X-rays
• Must be very comfortable with EMR; Epic preferred
• Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, rad techs as support staff
• Local providers preferred
