Join the Mango Mango team in Morganville, NJ as a Wait Staff - Team Member, where you'll play an essential role in creating memorable dining experiences through excellent service and teamwork. Working with a small team of 3-5 members, you will support assist with food plating, and help ensure smooth restaurant operations. This position offers flexible scheduling and regular opportunities for cross-training
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers and take orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization dining areas
- Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance throughout all tasks
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt and friendly guest service
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and transactions
Required Qualifications
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team and guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using POS systems such as Toast or Micros
- Knowledge of cafe operations
- Background in hospitality settings such as hotels or banquet services
