State Authorization Coordinator (Entry-Level)

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about ensuring accuracy in higher education?

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated State Authorization Coordinator to join our team! In this entry-level role (known internally as Research Analyst), you will play a vital role in maintaining our institution's compliance with state authorization, National Student Clearinghouse reporting, and veteran student regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance: Process and maintain state authorization applications, adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Accurate Reporting: Submit timely and accurate regulatory reports to the National Student Clearinghouse and other governing bodies.
  • Data Integrity: Manage student data within the National Student Clearinghouse, researching and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Stay Informed: Proactively research and monitor changes in regulations, staying up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Clear Communication: Respond to inquiries from stakeholders regarding regulations and compliance procedures.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and higher education software (e.g., Campus Solutions).
  • Familiarity with source research sites like NSC, NSLDS, SHEEO, and NC-SARA.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a technical or research-oriented role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Explorer).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
