Sr. Submarine System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Technici with Security Clearance

We are looking for a talented "Senior Submarine System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Engineering Technician" to support ongoing submarine modernization efforts. This is a fulltime position working out of Groton, CT. The Senior Engineering Technician will perform technical evaluations and perform the required corrective actions for Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) in accordance with DoD and U.S. Navy Maintenance Procedures, and Cyber System instructions. Pay Range: $76,398.40 to $92,414.40, depending on experience and credentials. Travel: up to 40% You Will: Provide support in a variety of engineering tasks in the testing and software development of Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) in accordance with engineering specifications.
Support systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise
Lead and assist testing and evaluations; perform validations/verifications of the SWFTS
Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions (ECI's)
Develop technical and/or engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements
Be the direct on-site customer interface for testing, survey, and other engineering tasks as needed
Support engineers in the development of a technical proposal and provide input on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work You Have: U.S. Citizenship Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
Hands-on experience investigating, troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problems in operational hardware and software
Self-motivation, strong work ethic and commitment to quality and teamwork
A passion for learning Education/Experience: Technical (Military/Trade) school/training beyond high school and at least 10 years of job-related experience
Functional knowledge of Kubernetes
Ability to interface in a Linux Shell program
Functional knowledge of virtual machine environments and applications
We Would Be Impressed If You Had: US Military Combat Systems and network equipment experience
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Linux Professional Institute LPIC-3 Virtualization and Containerization
